As I’m sure you’ve probably already noticed, rainbows and unicorns are the fad-of-the-moment right now. The Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino has certainly whipped up the hype to a near frenzy, but if you ask me, I think unicorn food has been popular ever since those squatty potty commercials came out. I mean, yes, the product they’re pushing has absolutely nothing to do with unicorns, but it was pure genius by their marketing team to promote an otherwise embarrassing product with bright and loveable unicorns.
And that marketing ploy really worked, because I totally shared their video on Facebook, and so did all of my friends.
Those commercials were also what brought on the influx of unicorn poop recipes, which I’m sure all the kids out there love. There’s nothing more fun as a kid than eating something that has a gross name but it’s not gross at all because it’s actually delicious.
So, what do I think of all this unicorn madness?
I could not be more thrilled.
