This easy brown sugar bacon wrapped chicken dinner is made with tender chicken breasts covered in a flavorful brown sugar rub and wrapped in crsipy bacon.
‣ 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed ‣ 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder ‣ 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder ‣ 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt ‣ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ‣ 1 pinch cayenne pepper, to taste ‣ 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts ‣ 12 slices bacon, any flavor but not thick cut ‣ fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
In a large, shallow bowl, whisk together the following ingredients: brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
Thoroughly coat the chicken breasts in the brown sugar mixture, using your fingers to press it onto the chicken.
Wrap each piece of chicken with two slices of bacon, then place the wrapped chicken in two 9×13 baking dishes sprayed with cooking spray. Be sure to tuck the ends of the bacon under the chicken and space the chicken out so that they’re not touching.
Sprinkle any of the remaining brown sugar mixture evenly over the chicken. Once done, send it off to bake!
