COTTON CANDY HOT CHOCOLATE BOMBS

Yield

6 bombs

Time

1 hour 30 minutes

With fun pink and blue hues, these cotton candy hot chocolate bombs combine two of the best childhood flavors: sweet cotton candy and piping hot chocolate.

INGREDIENTS

‣ 1 cup pink candy melts ‣ 1 cup blue candy melts ‣ 6 package strawberry hot cocoa mix ‣ 1 cup miniature marshmallows, any combination (fresh, dehydrated, etc) ‣ cotton candy ‣ hot milk or water, for serving

1

Add the pink and blue candy melts to separate microwave-safe bowls and heat in the microwave until smooth.

MELT THE CANDY

2

Spoon candy melts into the cavities of a sphere silicone mold, using a pastry brush to gently mix the colors (but not too much!) and completely coat the sides of the mold.

COAT THE MOLDS

Transfer the molds to the fridge for a few minutes to let them set.

3 - CHILL THE MOLDS

Bring the molds out and coat the edges with any remaining candy melts. Let the molds set in the freezer for 10 minutes.

4 - COAT WITH MORE CANDY

5

When ready to assemble, gently remove the candy shells from the molds, then divide the molds into two groups – six “bottoms” and six “tops.”

POP OUT THE SHELLS

6

Fill the prepared bottom shell with hot cocoa mix, cotton candy, and marshmallows. Repeat this step for the remaining five “bottom” shells.

FILL HALF OF THE SHELLS

7

Once done, attach the top shells. Let the finished bombs set for a few minutes.
