Great for comfort food for BBQ's, these crock pot baked beans are flavored with a savory combination of bacon, onion, mustard, coke, brown sugar, and vinegar.
‣ 1/2 pound bacon, chopped ‣ 1 small yellow onion, diced ‣ 2 cans Bush’s vegetarian baked beans, 28oz ‣ 1/3 cup molasses ‣ 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed ‣ 1/4 cup Coke ‣ 1/4 cup dijon mustard ‣ 3 bay leaves ‣ 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar ‣ 1 pinch salt, to taste ‣ 1 pinch black pepper, to taste

In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon and onion until the bacon starts to get crispy, then transfer the contents of the skillet (bacon, onion, and drippings) to a crock pot.

Add in the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot: baked beans, molasses, light brown sugar, Coke, dijon mustard, bay leaves, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Once everything is in, give it a quick stir, then cook!
