Ultra fluffy and creamy, this eggnog dip is the perfect way to jazz up all your favorite holiday cookies. Perfect for eggnog lovers and can be made in advance!
‣ 8 ounce cream cheese, softened ‣ 1/2 cup eggnog ‣ 1 teaspoon rum extract ‣ 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for garnish ‣ 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg ‣ 2 cup powdered sugar, divided ‣ 8 ounce Cool Whip, softened ‣ cookies or fruit, for dipping
Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer + large bowl), whip the cream cheese until nice and fluffy.
Stop the mixer and pour in the eggnog, rum extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and half of the powdered sugar. Start your mixer up and whip until everything is combined.
Halfway through mixing, add the other half of the powdered sugar, then whip until smooth.
Turn off the mixer and add the Cool Whip to the bowl. Use a spatula to gently fold and toss the two creams together. Once done, chill the dip for at least an hour. If needed, you can chill the dip for up to three days.
