Skip the coffee shop and make this eggnog latte at home with a frothy blend of festive eggnog, milk, holiday spices, and brewed espresso or (or dark coffee).

INGREDIENTS

‣ 1 1/2 cup eggnog ‣ 1/2 cup milk ‣ 2 teaspoon light brown sugar ‣ 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, plus more for topping (optional) ‣ 2 tablespoon brewed espresso ‣ whipped cream, for topping (optional) ‣ ground cinnamon, for topping (optional)

Heat and whisk the eggnog, milk, light brown sugar, and nutmeg in a saucepan until hot and steamy.

HEAT IT UP

Remove the saucepan from heat, then use a milk frother to make the eggnog mixture nice and foamy.

FROTH IT WELL

Add the brewed espresso to a large mug or glass.

ADD BREWED ESPRESSO TO A MUG

Pour the frothy eggnog mixture on top. Garnish the latte with whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg and cinnamon.
