Time
4 hours 15 minutes
These boozy Halloween jello shots are made with layers of grape and orange jello topped with whipped cream, Halloween sprinkles, and a chocolate spiderweb.
‣ 3 cups water, divided ‣ 3 ounces grape gelatin ‣ 1 cup vodka, chilled, divided ‣ 3 ounces orange gelatin ‣ 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, optional ‣ whipped cream ‣ Halloween sprinkles
Add water to a saucepan, then bring to a boil. Add grape powdered gelatin into a large mixing bowl, then pour in boiling water. Whisk them together until the gelatin is dissolved. Pour in the vodka and a little more water, then whisk again to combine.
Create the first layer by pouring the jello into your chosen cups, filling about 1/4 to 1/2 of the way full. Once ready, transfer the jello shots to the refrigerator to set.
When the first layer is set, prepare the orange gelatin the same way you did the grape: boil water, mix boiling water with pink gelatin until dissolved, add chilled vodka and a little more cup water, then whisk again.
Pour the pink gelatin on top of the green gelatin, filling each cup about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way. Once done, let the jello shots chill for 2 hours more.
Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and heat until smooth. Transfer the chocolate to a pastry bag with a small cut for piping. Lay out a piece of parchment paper, then use the melted chocolate to draw spiderwebs that are about one inch wide. Chill to set.
Top each jello shot with whipped cream, Halloween sprinkles, and a chocolate spiderweb.
