These honey garlic chicken wings are baked in the oven until nice and crispy and then coated in a sticky honey garlic sauce.
Baked Chicken Wings ‣ 2 pound chicken wings ‣ 1 teaspoon olive oil ‣ 1 teaspoon sea salt ‣ 1 pinch black pepper, to taste Honey Garlic Sauce ‣ 1/2 cup honey ‣ 2 tablespoon soy sauce ‣ 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated ‣ 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced ‣ 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, optional ‣ fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish (optional)
1
In a large bowl, add raw chicken wings. Drizzle on some olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and then toss with a pair of tongs or a spatula so that the wings are coated.
2
Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Once done, send the wings off to bake!
3
While the chicken bakes, prepare the sauce. Boil the honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili powder (if using) for three or four minutes or until the sauce is reduced and has a thick consistency and a dark golden color.
4
Add the baked chicken wings into a bowl and pour the honey garlic sauce on top. Use a spatula to toss and turn the chicken wings until they’re coated in sauce.
