Oven-roasted Brussels sprouts tossed with crispy bacon and drizzled with sweet maple syrup. It's an easy side dish to whip up for any dinner or holiday!
‣ 6 slices maple bacon ‣ 2 pound Brussels sprouts, stems and loose leaves removed, cut in half ‣ 2 tablespoon olive oil ‣ 1 pinch salt, to taste ‣ 1 pinch black pepper, to taste ‣ 2 tablespoon maple syrup
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then lay a few pieces of bacon across it. Bake the bacon, then transfer it to a paper towel lined plate. Once it’s cool, cut the bacon up into small pieces, then set aside.
Using the same pan you cooked the bacon on, add the Brussels sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt + pepper, then use a spatula to toss the sprouts. Once finished, bake!
Add the crumbled bacon to the baking sheet with the Brussels sprouts and drizzle with maple syrup. Use a spatula to toss all of the ingredients together, coating the sprouts and bacon with syrup.
