Yield
12 oreo blondies
Time
35 minutes
A cousin to the brownie, these sweet Oreo blondies have a gooey, dense texture, rich vanilla flavor, and are laced with an abundance of chopped Oreo cookies.
‣ 2 cup all-purpose flour ‣ 2 tablespoon cornstarch ‣ 1/2 teaspoon salt ‣ 1/2 teaspoon baking soda ‣ 3/4 cup salted butter, melted and cooled slightly ‣ 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed ‣ 1/2 cup granulated sugar ‣ 2 eggs ‣ 2 teaspoon vanilla extract ‣ 20 Oreos, chopped
1
In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking soda.
2
Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer + large bowl), mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the sugars are completely saturated with butter.
3
While mixing on low, add in the egg, vanilla, and the dry ingredients until a thick batter forms (be careful not to overmix!)
4
Turn off the mixer and add the crushed Oreos. Use a spatula to gently fold them into the batter.
5
Transfer the batter to a 9x13 baking dish lined with parchment paper, then smooth it out into an even layer. Once done, send it off to bake!
