RITZ CRACKER CANDY

With the delicious combination of salty and sweet, this crunchy Christmas crack (Ritz cracker candy) is a quick, simple treat that's great for holiday snacking.
‣ 40 Ritz crackers ‣ 1 cup salted butter ‣ 1 cup granulated sugar ‣ 1/2 teaspoon salt ‣ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ‣ 24 ounces white almond bark ‣ 1/2 cup red candy melts ‣ 1/2 cup green candy melts ‣ holiday sprinkles, optional
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then arrange the Ritz crackers in a tightly packed single layer.
ARRANGE THE RITZ
Heat the butter, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring it to a boil and cook until the mixture turns a light brown color. Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly stir in the vanilla extract.
COOK THE SUGAR
Pour the buttery sugar mixture over the crackers, coating them evenly. Once finished, transfer the baking dish the oven to bake.
POUR OVER THE RITZ
Melt the almond bark and candy melts, then pour them over the baked Ritz crackers. Drag a toothpick through the chocolate to create swirl patterns.
ADD CHOCOLATE AND DECORATE
Once cooled and firm, break and "crack" the candy into serving sized pieces.
