Perfect for lunch or potlucks, this crowd-pleasing cold tuna pasta salad is the perfect balance of creamy dressing, tender pasta, and fresh crunchy veggies.
‣ 16 ounce pasta shells, uncooked ‣ 1 cup mayonnaise ‣ 1/2 cup pickle relish ‣ 2 teaspoon dried dill weed ‣ 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder ‣ 1 pinch salt, to taste ‣ 1 pinch black pepper, to taste ‣ 10 ounce tuna, drained ‣ 1 cup peas, frozen ‣ 1/2 cup celery, diced ‣ 1/2 cup red onion, diced
1
In a large mixing bowl (I like using this one), add the mayonnaise, pickle relish, dill weed, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and then whisk everything together. Do a few taste tests to see if you need to add any extra pepper or salt.
2
Toss in the cooked pasta, tuna, peas, celery, and red onion.
3
Use a spatula to thoroughly toss everything together, coating it all with dressing.
