Used as salsa or garnish, this homemade pico de gallo recipe is easy to whip up on a whim and perfect for adding a dash of Mexican flavor to any dish or dip!
Ingredients
10mediumRoma tomatoes, chopped, seeds removed
1cupchopped white onion
1/2cupfresh minced cilantro
1mediumjalapeno pepper, chopped, seeds and ribs removed
In a large bowl add tomatoes, white onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and sea salt. Use a spatula to gently mix all ingredients together.
10 medium Roma tomatoes, 1 cup chopped white onion, 1/2 cup fresh minced cilantro, 1 medium jalapeno pepper, 1/4 cup lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Cover bowl and let pico de gallo marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes or ideally 2 hours.
